This Privacy Policy explains how Inciple LLC (“Inciple,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our websites, mobile applications, products, and services, collectively referred to as the “Services.”

The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services.

Information you provide

SMS and email consent records, including your telephone number or email address, the date and time of consent, the method used to provide consent, and the version of the consent language displayed to you.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the specific Service you are using and we have requested it.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:

Device information, such as device type, operating system, browser type, language, app version, and device identifiers.
Usage information, such as pages or screens viewed, features used, links selected, and the dates and times of activity.
Log information, such as IP address, timestamps, referring and exit pages, and error or diagnostic information.
Approximate location, such as a general city, state, or region inferred from your IP address.
Application information, such as crash reports, performance information, and notification tokens when applicable.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photographs, microphone recordings, or similar device information unless the relevant feature requires it and you grant permission through your device.

We may use cookies, local storage, software development kits, pixels, and similar technologies for:

Remembering preferences.
Security and fraud prevention.
Understanding usage and improving performance.
Analytics and troubleshooting.

You can control cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent portions of the Services from functioning properly.

From Apple, Google, or another application marketplace when permitted by that marketplace and applicable law.

We will not use personal information for a materially different purpose without providing appropriate notice and obtaining consent when required by law.

4. SMS and email communications

SMS

If you affirmatively opt in, we may send recurring informational SMS messages based on your requests, selections, account activity, or alerts.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for assistance. You may also contact us at contact@inciple.co .

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages through this informational opt-in.

We do not sell telephone numbers. We do not share mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose this information to service providers that help us deliver messages, but only as necessary to provide the messaging service and subject to appropriate restrictions.

Email

We may send transactional or service-related emails necessary to provide the Services, respond to requests, deliver requested information, or communicate security and account notices.

Marketing emails, if offered in the future, will include an unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not prevent us from sending necessary transactional or service-related communications.

5. How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

Hosting and infrastructure providers that host or support the Services.
Analytics and diagnostic providers that help us understand performance and resolve technical problems.
Communication providers that deliver email, SMS messages, or notifications.
Security providers that help detect fraud, abuse, or security threats.
Professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, and auditors.
Government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
A successor or potential successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business.

Service providers may access personal information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for us and are expected to handle it consistently with their contractual and legal obligations.

6. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information for money.

We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as “sharing” is defined under California law, and we do not use personal information to present targeted advertising based on activity across unrelated websites or services.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years old.

If these practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required opt-out method before beginning the new practice.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

Provide and secure the Services.
Maintain your account.
Complete requested communications.
Comply with legal and accounting obligations.
Resolve disputes.
Prevent fraud and misuse.
Enforce agreements.

The applicable retention period depends on the nature and sensitivity of the information, why it was collected, whether it is still needed, and applicable legal requirements.

We may retain SMS and email consent and opt-out records for compliance purposes after you unsubscribe. We may also retain limited records of deletion requests when necessary to demonstrate compliance or prevent information from being added again.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we will delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal requirements and reasonable backup cycles.

8. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us if you believe your account or personal information has been compromised.

9. Your choices and requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request that we:

Provide access to personal information we maintain about you.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Delete personal information.
Provide information about how personal information is used or disclosed.
Provide a portable copy of certain personal information.
Withdraw consent when processing is based on consent.

You may also:

Opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP.
Request SMS assistance by replying HELP.
Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email.
Control cookies through your browser or device settings.
Control application permissions through your mobile-device settings.

Please describe your request and identify the email address, telephone number, or account associated with the Services. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. We will use verification information only to process and protect your request.

Certain information may be retained or excluded from a request when permitted by law—for example, when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or establishing or defending legal claims.

10. California privacy disclosures

CalOPPA disclosures

California’s Online Privacy Protection Act requires covered online services to disclose how they respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals and whether other parties may collect information about users’ online activities over time and across different websites.

Because there is not currently a universally accepted standard for responding to browser Do Not Track signals, the Services do not presently change their behavior in response to those signals.

Third-party analytics, operating-system, application-marketplace, or platform providers may collect information through their technologies when you use the Services. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy policies and the configurations we select.

Because we do not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, an opt-out signal generally does not change our current practices. If applicable law requires us to recognize a legally valid preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control, we will process it as required.

CCPA and CPRA rights

To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act apply to Inciple, California residents may have the right to:

Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about them.
Know the sources, purposes, and categories of recipients of personal information.
Request deletion of personal information.
Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Obtain a portable copy of certain personal information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information.
Receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

Inciple does not currently sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We also do not currently use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit.

An authorized agent may submit a request for a California resident. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and verification of the resident’s identity.

11. Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us at contact@inciple.co, and we will take appropriate steps to investigate and delete the information when required.

12. Third-party services and application marketplaces

The Services may contain links to or integrate with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

Apple and Google may independently collect information when you download or use an application through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Consult the applicable Apple or Google privacy policy and marketplace settings for information about their practices.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we collect, use, or disclose personal information, we will provide reasonable notice through the Services, by email, or through another appropriate method before the change becomes effective when required by law.

We will request consent if required before using previously collected personal information for a materially different purpose.
